About Us
Our Mission

To build a national hydrogen flight research platform that is accessible to and inclusive of all parts of the Canadian ecosystem.

To accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen propulsion aircraft towards a “net-zero” future.

To establish Canada as a global leader in hydrogen aviation.

Our Vision
Canadians working together to build safe, environmentally sustainable, viable, and equitable aviation solutions for a cleaner planet.

Our Challenge
Canada’s aviation industry must develop clean aviation propulsion technologies and support infrastructure to reduce climate impact and ensure Canada’s position as a global leader in sustainable aviation solutions.

Our Plan
H2CANFLY will launch a multi-phase, multi-objective aircraft project to drive the advance-ment of non-conventional hydrogen & electric propulsion technologies, requisite airport infrastructure, and essential certification.
Who we are
Potential to reduce up to 27% of aviation’s CO2 operational emissions by targeting the classes of aircraft that can benefit
from new hydrogen & electrification propulsion technologies, from air-taxis to regional aircraft up to short-haul singleaisle aircraft.
Supporting existing and future
airborne systems, such as Advanced Air Mobility (AAM),
electric vertical take off and
landing (e-VTOL) aircraft, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems
(RPAS), airships, and next generation aircraft concepts, such
as blended wing body and truss
-braced wing.
