About Us

We are a federal not-for-profit national consortium in Canada dedicated to advancing hydrogen aviation. Officially unveiled at the 2024 Canadian Aerospace Summit, H2CanFly aims to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen and electrification technologies for sustainable aviation.

Our Challenge

Canada’s aviation industry must develop clean aviation propulsion technologies and support infrastructure to reduce climate impact and ensure Canada’s position as a global leader in sustainable aviation solutions.

Our Plan

H2CanFly will launch a multi-phase, multi-objective aircraft project to drive the advancement of non-conventional hydrogen & electric propulsion technologies, requisite airport infrastructure, and essential certification.
